The advanced search box on the Receive Inventory screen is a bit finicky. Even the best Razor users have trouble with it from time to time. Here is how we improved it:
If there are empty spaces after the text, the search will ignore the characters
When you scan in a item, you have to then click away to lock it, and then click Find. Now, pressing enter starts the search without having to click away first.
When you scan an item and search the item, to start the next scan, you have to rehighlight the text and scan the next barcode. Now, after you click enter, the search runs and the text is highlighted again so it's ready for your next scan. This is good for when you are planning to scan a bunch of items
