Relocate a Pallet to Rack Space

This tutorial will discuss best practices on how to build a case or pallet, then relocate that case or pallet to a rack location. This is helpful when you sell an item to locate the pallet and Rackspace.

Go to the Assets Page.
In the Assets page, click the Actions button and select Relocate and Update.
On the Relocate and Update sub-window, select Generate Case.
You can choose to print a label for this case, but for this tutorial we’re selecting No.
Next, click the three-vertical dots on Location, then select Lock Location.
Place the cursor on the UID/Serial and start scanning. You’ll see the scanned items at the table below.
Once done, you have the opportunity to print a label (see below). Just select the Format and click Preview.
Next is to go to the Receive Inventory screen (Inventory > Receive Inventory). Then click Relocate.
Lastly, enter or scan the Case ID/Number of original location and the new location on the text fields as shown below.
Click Close. Then go to Assets page and see if they were relocated successfully.
