What are tags and how are they used in RazorERP?

You can use tags for customer segmentation and marketing lists. When you run a filtered search on the CRM based on a tag, you can then export to excel and use it as a email distribution list. Ideally, down the road we'll have a mailchimp and/or constant contact integration. We're also looking at other open source applications that will allow us to tie in more advanced CRM capabilities like Lead > Opportunity > Contact > Account, Marketing Lists, Email Integrations, Basic Customer Reporting, etc.

You can also use tags against master commodities (recycling/ITAD) and master items (resale) for reporting purposes.
