How is the product identified in RazorERP when it is purchased but not paid for yet? How does an item integrate back in inventory if the customer never pays or the sale is canceled?
Answer
Razor contains an inventory pick list page where all new orders are added to this page to get picked immediately. After an order is picked and it is ready to be shipped it is allocated to that order. Once it is allocated to an order it is removed from inventory. If the order is cancelled for any reason all allocated items are return to inventory. At the point of allocation is when the inventory item is removed form inventory and quantity counts are adjusted to avoid overselling.
