This tutorial demonstrates how to add an item to a sales order through inventory detail.
1. Navigate to Inventory > Inventory Details.
The Inventory Details page will be displayed.
2. Select items that you want to add to the sales order. You may even search and select the items.
3. Click Add to Order.
The Create Sales Order dialog will be displayed.
4. Select the customer name for whom the sales order is being created from the available list.
5. Click OK.
It will generate the sales order for the customer.
6. You can either click OK and exit from the dialog or click on the order number link to open the sales order in the new tab.
The sales order page will be displayed. You can modify the details of the sales order in this page.
