Printer extra settings not specified

Problem

I'm trying to print a label and I'm receiving an error "Printer extra settings not specified".  What does this mean?



Solution

You have to set the extra settings in the Global Settings > Printing section.

  1. Go to Global Settings > Printing
  2. Select the printer you wish to print a label from and double-click the line item
  3. Once opened, click the checkbox labeled "Extra parameters"
  4. Enter the IP address of the printer and the port number (9100)
