Consignment Processing
In this tutorial, we’ll show you how easy it is to process Consignments on a Contract in RazorERP!
Go to Recycling, then click Contract Management.
In order to apply a Consignment, you must have a Contract created. For instructions on how to do this, click this link:
How to Create a ContractOnce a Contract is created, select the Contract, then click Update.
Next, click on Consignment Rules.
You’ll see the Consignment Tab.
You can also have few options for Consignment:
*Flat Split - 50/50 split
*Tiered Split - has different ranges and percentageIf you want this Consignment to any commodity that’s coming in, tick the Is Default checkbox.
This will ensure that all items tagged or received in are applied with a Consignment Flag.If Is Default is not ticked, you can manually select a Consignment to apply on each Commodity by going to Commodity Pricing.
Then select the Consignment you want to apply for this specific Commodity.
Once done, click Save.
To apply the Consignment, see the additional instructions below:
Go to CRM > Accounts.
Select an Account.
Click Schedule Inbound to create an Order.
Select Portal Reports.
Select the Consignment Contract to apply, then click Yes.
When you go to Recycling > Inbound Orders, you’ll see the Order with the Contract applied.
This will ensure that all assets that will come in will have the Consignment Rule allocated to them.Once Auditing is done and you go to Recycling > Settlement, you’ll actually see the Consignment Rules applied to the Lots.
To view all parts that has a Consignment Rule applied to them, follow the instructions below:
Go to Inventory > Consignment Items.
It will show you the Consignment Items tab.
You may apply certain Filters depending on what you are looking for, typically you’ll use the Inventory, SO State, Consignment & Account Filters.
How to issue an AP Invoice from Consignment:
On the Consignment Items page, use the Filters to find a part that needs to be paid. In this scenario, we’ll search using an Account.
After a search filter is applied, you’ll see the different Sales Orders in this account.
You can also see Pricing, Amount Owed and the Contract to which these parts are into.If you want to pay all parts at one time, you can scroll to the left and tick one checkmark. Then, tick the upper-right checkmark to Select All.
You may also select only specific parts on this list.
Then click Add to PO. This indicates that the Customer is paid and the Consignment has been applied to this PO.
To verify that it’s already Paid, change the Consignment Filter to Paid.
You’ll see that a PO# is created.
You may now go to Purchases > Purchase Orders, and select the PO that was created.
Verify that an Invoice is created. Go to the Invoice Tab within the PO.
Click on Print.
Select the type of Purchase Order you wanted to print. Then proceed to clicking on Print, or click Preview to see the PO first.
