Understanding Auto Numbering
This tutorial will teach you about Auto-Numbering and how to change the automatic identity of certain data objects in Razor.
1. Navigate to Settings> System Settings.
The Admin page will be displayed.
2. In ADMINISTRATION section, navigate to AUTO-NUMBERING tab.
The Auto-Numbering page is displayed.
3. Navigate to Sales Orders tab.
You can view the starting number as 10000 by default in Starting Number field.
All the sales order number starts from SO-10000 as indicated in Preview field.
4. Navigate to Sales > Sales Orders.
The Sales Order page is displayed.
The sales order number SO starts with 10000 and its succeeding numbers.
5. Navigate to Purchase Orders tab.
You can view the starting number as 10000 by default in Starting Number field.
All the purchase order number starts from PO-10000 as indicated in Preview field.
6. Navigate to Purchase > Purchase Orders.
The Purchase Order page is displayed.
The purchase order number PO starts with 10000 and its succeeding numbers.
7. Navigate to Inbound Orders tab.
You can view the starting number as 10000 by default in Starting Number field.
All the Inbound order number starts from IN-10000 as indicated in Preview field.
8. Navigate to Recycling> Inbound Orders.
The Inbound Orders page is displayed.
The Inbound order number IN starts with 10000 and its succeeding numbers.
9. Navigate to Outbound Orders tab.
You can view the starting number as 10000 by default in Starting Number field.
All the Outbound order number starts from OUT-10000 as indicated in Preview field.
10. Navigate to Recycling> Outbound Orders.
The Outbound Orders page is displayed.
The Outbound order number starts with OUT-10000 and its succeeding numbers.
11. Navigate to Quotes tab.
You can view the starting number as 10000 by default in Starting Number field.
All the Quotes number starts from Q-10000 as indicated in Preview field.
12. Navigate to Contracts tab.
You can view the starting number as 10000 by default in Starting Number field.
