Install the Razor Remote Printer Service

This video will show you how to install the latest razor print service.  You can install one on each computer you will have a printer directly installed to.  It is recommended to have a main server that has all your printers in your facility networked and installed directly to that computer. Any printer connected to the computer running the printer service will have that printer accessible through RazorERP.   

  • Download and Install the Remote Printer Service by going to System Settings > Printing > Click Download Remote Printer Service

     

  • Click Setup.exe



  • Once a Blue Dialog Box shows up, click More Info > select Run Anyway

     

  • Select Install and proceed with the Installation Process. If prompted, click Run Anyway.

     

  • To Add a Printer, click Start/Windows Icon and search for Printers and Scanners

     

  • Click Add a Printer or Scanner

     

  • Next is to click on The Printer I want isn’t listed

     

  • Select an IP Printer (Add a printer using TCP/IP)

  • Type the IP Address of the Printer

     

  • Select Generic Network Card

     

  • Select the Driver manually by clicking Have Disk, then select the Driver and the Printer from the list.

     

  • Type a printer name, then hit Next.

     

  • Close and Re-run the Remote Printer Service

     

  • Then, refresh the RazorERP Printer Page to verify that the printer is visible.
